Registration is now open for the Spring season of the Hadley-Amherst Softball League!

We welcome players ages 6-12 from Hadley, Amherst, Leverett, Shutesbury, Pelham, and Belchertown (with waiver) for our 8U, 10U, and 12U programs. Sign up before 4/1: https://www.amherstbaseball.org/more-information/registration/.

Spring Training begins in mid-March and outdoor practices begin in April.

We are also looking to hire umpires for our 10U and 12U games ($50/game). Players 12 and up can train to be umpires (14+ for behind the plate). Umpire trainings will be held in March and April.

We are looking for coaches at all levels. Ideally, each team will have 3 coaches (1 head coach and 2 assistants). You don’t have to have previous experience. And even if you can’t commit to being at all events, we’re still happy to have your help!

The Annual Meeting of Amherst Baseball and Hadley Amherst Softball will be held October 11 from 800-900PM via zoom.  At this meeting the president and treasurer will present annual reports, board members will be elected and officers will be elected.  All parents and guardians who have had children play in our programs are welcome to attend and participate.  Please contact us at amherstbaseball@gmail.com for the meeting link.

Especially, we encourage you to consider joining the board and contributing to youth baseball and softball programs in the area.  If you may have interest in board service, please email us and we are happy to provide further information.

Registration for Fall Ball is now open! The cost is $50 for ~10 games over 7 weeks (Labor Day to the end of October). Teams will practice 1 weeknight, and will play 1-2 games each weekend.
